Renard attends the FMA networking event - January 2012

Renard joins Gasp Events and Zest Catering at St Ethelburg's - September 2011
A great event was jointly hosted by Zest catering and Gasp events and the newly launched St Ethelburg's venue in the city, which was showcased superbly. From wonderful food and drink to cocktails mixed by pedal power and magic tricks galore. Renard Resources appreciated the invite and hopes to work closely with all concerned in the near future.

We have now moved - August 2011
Renard Resources Ltd has now moved to Garden House, 57-59 Long Acre, Covent Garden WC2E 9JL. Only one minute from Covent Garden underground station on the south side of Long Acre at its junction with Bow Street and Endell Street. New telephone numbers will be published shortly but all existing email, telephone and fax numbers will work for the time being. Our new offices offer state of the art interviewing and training facilities, please pop in and see us!

We are pleased to announce an impending move to new facilities two minutes walk from Covent Garden underground station. The new facilities will greatly improve our training and in-house interviewing abilities as well as providing further space for expansion. Renard holds its Summer staff BBQ - August 2011
The venue was Wimbledon and the weather was on its best behaviour for the annual Renard summer BBQ, the first to be held by our new MD. A good time was had by all and with many new initiatives under way it was a good opportunity for everyone to catch up and relax without the pressure of the phone! James Gardiner Joins the Renard team in London - July 2011
Our Hospitality & Leisure Permanent division is pleased to announce the appointment of James Gardiner as Consultant specialising in the Leisure & Spa sector across the UK, moving to London from Doncaster he joins the team with a strong sales and Leisure background including four years recruitment experience.

Maciej Klimczak promoted to Divisional Manager - June 2011
With the departure of Jorge Pereira to pastures new after four years loyal service to the Renard team, we are pleased to announce that Maciej Klimczak has been promoted to Divisional Manager of the Hospitality & Leisure temporary division. Maciej joined Renard in 2008 and has had several promotions as he has progressed through the temporary division, he brings an enthusiasm and dedication that we are sure will bode well for the team in the future.

Renard wishes Harbour & Jones all the best with their London to Paris cycle challenge - June 2011
Harbour & Jones are entering a team of twelve brave (if slightly mad) riders into this years London to Paris cycle challenge between 1st & 3rd July 2011! The challenge has been organised to raise funds for one of their chosen charities, Children in Crisis, which aims to give children in some of the world’s poorest countries the education they need to help transform their lives.  Children in Crisis’ vision is of a world where all children have access to education to enable them to fulfil their potential to live positive, healthy lives and contribute to the development of the societies in which they live. Last year Harbour & Jones entered a team in the same cycle ride and raised over £8,000 for this excellent charity. Their target for fundraising this year is £15,000 and we wish them all the best with their challenge:

Acadamy of Medical Sciences opening - March 2011
Renard staffed a drinks and canapés event at the Acadamy of Medical Sciences showcasing their fantastic event spaces that have recently undergone a £5 million refurbishment. Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) Update - March 2011
With the Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) due to be implemented from October 2011 Renard is working closely with The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) to assess the impact of the legislation on our clients and candidates. A thoroughly good evening was enjoyed by invitation of one of our clients Elior UK. An Evening of Culinary Excellence was enjoyed with food by Anton Edelman, Giorgio Locatelli, Mark Hix and William Curley with wine chosen by Gerrard Bassett and a rousing after dinner speech by Greg Wallace from Masterchef. All in aid of the springboard charity. Renard is proud to be a preferred supplier to Elior UK.

Science Museum Event - December 2010
Renard were proud to be staffing an
 event for BP held in the Science Museum. The staff were involved in setting up three different bars, running a cloakroom and serving canapés and bowl food. Craig Campbell joins the Renard London team - December 2010
The Renard temporary team is pleased to announce the arrival of Craig Campbell who joins with over fifteen years experience of the contract catering marketplace. Most recently as Head of Food and Retail Operations for Credit Suisse/ Restaurant Associates in Canary Warf, but also over his career with names such as Sodexo, Baxter Storey, Avenance and Searcys. He reports to Jorge Pereira and hopes to assist in the development of divisions growth for 2011.


Cathal Geraghty joins the Renard team in London - November 2010
The permanents team has expanded once again with the addition of Cathal Geraghty who joins the team with two years experience working with Skills Training UK. Initially concentrating on Front of House appointments Cathal will be working with many of our existing client and candidates in conjunction with the Divisions team leader Neil Buckley.


Michael Blake joins the permanent recruitment team- November 2010
Due to an opportunity arising in November 2010, Michael decided to accept a new challenge as Senior Recruitment Consultant for the Permanent Recruitment Division, recruiting Chefs at all levels.
Michael joined Renard as a Consultant in 2007 working in the Temporary Division, through the years he has worked his way up to an Operational Manager overseeing the daily running of the department and client management. 


Renard appoints new Managing Director - September 2010
Daniel Griggs has joined Renard after fifteen years with international recruiter Beresford Blake Thomas, now Randstad. Progressing  with BBT from a small operation of 6 employees to a global operation of over 700 operating out of 40 offices, covering markets from Construction, Engineering, Property, Oil and Gas, Health and Social Care, Accounting Finance and Banking through to hospitality across the world.
